Will the Apple Tablet, to be announced today, save traditional publishers?  It appears that many publishers, and Apple, are hoping so.  Stories have been going around for weeks about talks between traditional publishing houses and Apple, over how to price and sell "books" and similar content to the public via Apple's new tablet device.

It will be very interesting to see how this all pans out.  If they can do something as revolutionary as they did with the iPhone, then this really could be a game changer for Apple, the tech consumer, and the traditional publishers.
